Stayed this summer with family as a group (a mix of adults and kids) and it could not have been a more idyllic stay. Peaceful village with stunning surroundings in a wonderfully equipped and beautiful house & barn. The pool and courtyard areas were real highlights. Denise and Andrew were perfect hosts, attentive but discreet. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for such a memorable break.
We have recently had an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay at Les Cotes.
The accommodation is outstanding, with a well equipped kitchen and renovated to a high specification. We found the property to be extremely clean with comfortable beds and fantastic showers, wonderful dining spaces both in the farmhouse and the beautiful barn, a home from home experience.
Andrew and Denise have truly provided the warmest welcome and stay, very friendly and knowledgeable on the surrounding area.
Our children enjoyed many days playing with their cousins in the fantastic swimming pool, with water temperatures reaching 34 degrees!
We spent some wonderful family time playing games such as frisbee and cricket and cycling within the secure and private field. After which we relaxed with a gin or 2 in the Comfort of the courtyard.
The holiday accommodation is very well situated close to local attractions and amenities. Some of our favourite things to do and well worth a visit include the Chateau de Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, canoeing in the Dordogne at Castelnaud, enjoying an ice cream overlooking the breath taking views of the Dordogne River from the Bastide town of Domme. If you are looking for a market I would recommend Sarlat on a Saturday . There are plenty of amazing caves to visit including Lascaux in nearby Montignac.
We have had the most amazing family holiday here and look forward to returning in the near future.

What a wonderful place, extremely well equipped, you have thought of everything. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Most of our cooking done in the summer kitchen which was amazing.
The caves at Padirac were fantastic. We visited Perigueux which is also worth going to, lovely shops, bars & restaurants.

We arrived at this idyllic location, some one kilometre from the village of Gabillou, Dordogne
The friendliness of hosts Denise and Andrew was immediate, welcoming and set the scene for what was to come next! A setting such as the fully restored and quality finished Farmhouse and magnificent open plan barn greets you and puts you into relaxation mode, you could stay forever.
Seriously, the architecture, bedrooms, en-suites, living rooms and entertainment areas are truly outstanding. Walking out into the expansive and beautifully shaded courtyard, surrounded by rolling valley views and warm coloured buildings, you just want to sit, read, converse and watch… A perfectly placed outside kitchen brings together this wonderful outside living/entertainment oasis. And then you open the gate and a new laid back, fabulous, open area awaits…with a large, for visitors only, swimming pool.

“Residences les Cotes is the most beautiful gites complex in the heart of the Dordogne. A warm welcome by the hosts is assured and the accommodation is superb. We enjoyed many alfresco meals in the atmospheric courtyard and it was just perfect, with a summer kitchen for added convenience. There is a great swimming pool with shower and plenty of space on the premises.
